The town of Colchester is approximately 65 miles north-east of London just off the A12. Our full address is Colchester Golf Club, 21 Braiswick, Colchester, Essex, CO4 5AU.

The club is one mile north-west of Colchester North Station - up the B1508 road following the signs for Bures.

Directions by Car

From Junction 28 of the M25 at Brentwood it takes about 45-50 minutes up the A12 to the middle one of three exits marked for Colchester (A133). Head down the sliproad and take second exit at the roundabout. Continue down tree-lined Avenue of Rembrance and take first exit at next roundabout. Second exit at next roundabout keeping in left-hand lane under the railway bridge. Immediately after the bridge, at traffic lights head diagonally left up the B1058  towards Bures. The course and clubhouse is approx 1/2 mile up the road on the right-hand side.

From Ipswich, follow the A12 towards London and exit at the new Colchester United Football Ground turning. Continue towards Colchester town centre until you reach Colchester Railway Station. Follow signposts for B1058 Bures (away from the station)and the golf club is on the right hand side about 1/2 mile up the road. 

By Public Transport - Colchester North main rail station is about 65 miles (one hour by train) from London’s Liverpool Street station; and one hour by an hourly-service direct bus from London Stansted airport (STN).  Taxis are readily obtained at the rail station for the one mile to the clubhouse. Some maps also show a golf flag for Playgolf Colchester which is situated to the south of the B1508, about half a mile away.
