Over 500 pitchmarks were repaired by the greenstaff following last weekend's play.  Please can members repair any pitchmarks on the greens and remind your playing partners to do the same.

The bonfire debris has been removed and the area measured for re-turfing.

Lakes & Greens have been on-site to drain down the irrigation system for winter.

Mowing heights for tees and approaches have been raised to 12mm -15mm.

Fairway mowing heights have been raised to 16mm - 22mm.  Fairway perimeters and selected dry fairways have been mown.

Drainage outlets on all internal and boundary ditches have been cleared to increase drainage efficiency.  Video here.

Traffic management (post & roped areas and white lines) has been extended following the recent heavy rain.

The new winter mats are being prepared for installation around the course very soon.

There has been extensive leaf blowing and clearing of surfaces in the mornings to get them ready for play.

White Tee markers have been removed and stored for winter renovation.

48 soil samples have been taken from the 5th, 10th and 12th greens for analysis at the European Turfgrass Laboratories.

Various machine maintenance has been carried out.

44mm of rain has fallen so far in November.  594mm has fallen so far this year compared to 373mm for the whole of 2022.
