JUNIOR ACADEMY COACHING

Head Professional Chris Cutchie launched the new elite academy at the back end of 2023 alongside Tour  Player Ben David. 

This academy is aimed at members as well as non members.

Lessons take place at weekends as well as weekday evenings after Easter.

Our Success Stories

Head Professional Chris Cutchie and Ben David have both come through the ranks at Colchester Golf Club, and have over 30 Professional Victories between them.

We currently coach within the academy, the Essex Boys Champion Edward Mason, current Club Champion and England Under 18 international Oliver Baker, as well as Essex County player Mason Barningham.

All three of these players play national events, and have been awarded scholarships to America, becoming NCAA players at the end of summer 2024. 

We are looking forward to getting the next generation to these levels and above.

Meet the Pros

Chris Cutchie is the Head Professional here at the club, and fou nder of Colchester Golf Academy. Chris Currently coaches at International, County and Membership level. Chris has won multiple Professional events and regularly competes on the PGA National Circuit.

Ben David is a  T ouring P rofessional, who is starting his PGA Course in September.

Ben has played Challenge Tour golf as well as represented the Essex County team as an Amateur.

OUR LAUNCH IS ON SATURDAY 6th APRIL BETWEEN 13.00 AND 15.00

OUR ADVANCED GROUP IS CURRENTLY FULL, A FEW SPOTS ARE AVAILABLE IN OUR INTERMEDIATE GROUP AND WE ARE STARTING A BRAND NEW BEGINNER CLASS!
