Curious about joining Colchester Golf Club but want to experience club life first? Our Trial Membership is designed to give you a genuine feel for the course, the competitions, and the social side of the Club before committing to full membership.
For a limited time in February, Trial Membership is available for £195.
What’s included
- Two months of Trial Membership with full golfing rights
- Access to the course, clubhouse, bar, dining facilities, and members’ discount card
- Eligibility to play in most club competitions (subject to handicap acceptance and competition rules)
- The ability to invite up to three guests at the members’ concessionary rate
- Full access to the Club’s social life and events
- If the course is closed for a prolonged period due to adverse weather, your Trial Membership will be extended by an equivalent amount of time, ensuring you receive the full benefit of your trial.
Interview and next steps
All Trial Memberships begin with a short informal interview with a Club representative. Trial Membership begins once the interview is completed, approved, and the fee is paid in full.
Moving to full membership
Should you decide to apply for full membership at the end of your trial and your application is accepted, 50% of your Trial Membership fee will be credited against your joining fee, provided you apply within three months of completing your trial.
